Gislaveds Konsthall and A Collaboration Monument

Welcome to A Collaboration Monument and Gislaveds Konsthall, we are looking for a project manager for a large scale art project to be carried out in 2021. The project will play out in several locations with Gislaveds Konsthall as a base. A Collaboration Monument is a durational project that takes the form of several separate works, all of which are pat of a whole. Artists, draughtsmen, architects, dancers, set designers, musicians, writers and curators collaborate in the creation of art that goes above and beyond yourself.

 Job description

You will work with different people and diverse artistic disciplines bringing them together. You locate, direct and communicate with collaborators. You organise events, write applications and play an integral part in the creation of a monumental art work.

The job entails communication with several different professions. You need to follow instructions, make decisions and work independently. The assignment is flexible in terms of workplace as well as time. The work periods will be planned during 2021 in conjunction with the employer.

Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor degree in art, dance or project management or an other education that the employer deems equivalent. Communicative ability and skills within social media, event management and organisation are desirable. You are required to have a solution orientated approach, be creative and good at holding as well as setting dead-lines. Previous experience as a project manager is not a requirement. The utmost importance is placed on personal suitability.
